Continental Ranch Pet Clinic is a full service veterinary clinic located in Marana, AZ. We are dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care in a friendly environment. Our expert veterinarians and staff are proud to be an integral part of your pet's wellness, preventative, and urgent care.
Just as with humans, we know that regular checkups for your pet are important to their well-being. We carefully select the best vaccines available and tailor the schedule for administering those vaccines based on the individual pet and their lifestyle.
We also offer vaccine titers to check and see if new vaccines are needed. As Tucson now has more mosquitoes and heartworm disease than in the past, we recommend that all pets be tested for this deadly disease and then started on preventatives. As a bonus, the preventative we use also treats for common intestinal parasites that can be transferred to people — especially children or the elderly.
Regular baseline blood testing can also help to identify health issues as early as possible.
From vomiting and diarrhea to ear infections, lethargy and pain, Continental Ranch Pet Clinic is prepared to help your pet with just about any illness.
Common diagnostics include blood work (results are usually available same day), x-rays, ultrasound, and cytology (looking at material under a microscope). Common treatments include medication via injection, fluids beneath the skin (subcutaneous fluids), intravenous fluids (IV fluids), or oral medications.
If your pet isn't feeling well or you suspect something is going on, please call, text, or email to set up your pet's appointment.
Our in-house laboratory allows us to run blood work and get results the same day. This helps us diagnose and treat your pet more quickly and efficiently.
We also have digital x-ray capabilities, ultrasound, and cytology services to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging and testing for your pet's health needs.
From routine surgery to emergency surgery, Continental Ranch Pet Clinic can provide your pet with the best care. Our experienced, compassionate veterinarians routinely perform emergency surgeries including laceration repairs, caesarean sections, bloat surgery, intestinal blockages, and more.
Our doctors also perform routine surgeries such as spays and neuters, mass removals, and even limb amputations. Our doctors customize each patient's anesthesia protocol based on their size, breed, history, and current condition to make anesthesia as safe as possible.
Our hospital features the latest anesthesia monitoring equipment to keep your pet healthy and comfortable during the procedure. Our doctors and staff call you after surgery to keep you updated on how your pet is doing.
Dental disease is one of the most common conditions we see in pets. Regular dental cleanings and exams can help prevent painful infections, tooth loss, and other serious health problems.
Our dental services include comprehensive oral exams, dental cleanings, extractions, and digital dental x-rays. We use modern anesthetic protocols to ensure your pet's safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
When your pet has a terminal illness or condition, our hospice care services focus on keeping your pet comfortable and maintaining quality of life for as long as possible.
We work closely with you to develop a personalized care plan that manages pain, maintains mobility, and supports your pet's emotional well-being during this difficult time.
Losing a pet is very emotional, but there are things we can do to make it easier on our pets. We feel that we are very fortunate to have the option to humanely euthanize our pets and prevent them from suffering.
Continental Ranch Pet Clinic is dedicated to making the process as comfortable and gentle as possible for you and your pet. We will meet with you to learn about what is occurring and to ensure that euthanasia is the proper decision. We use a combination of medications that allow them to gently go to sleep and pass away peacefully and calmly.
When you have said your goodbyes and are done visiting with your pet, we do offer cremation services. Please call, text, or email to set up an appointment if you think this service may help your pet.
We stock many prescription medications for your convenience and work very hard to find you the best pricing. We will provide written scripts upon request that you can use at the pharmacy of your choice.
We also stock the Hill's Prescription dog and cat foods, the Royal Canin Prescription line, and some Purina Prescription foods. Many are regularly in stock — some types will need to be special-ordered.
Continental Ranch Pet Clinic is locally owned and when you purchase your medications and prescription foods through our hospital, you help to support families here in Tucson. Thank you!
